Champ1 has introduced a smartphone that is priced under Rs 1000.
The ChampOne C1 is an Android-based smartphone that is priced at Rs 501.
It comes with a 5-inch HD display and under its hood is a 1.3GHz MT6735 Quad-core processor coupled with 2 GB RAM. It further comes with 8 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front sensor, 16 GB internal storage, 2500mAh battery.
The ChampOne C1 is 4G LTE enabled and dual SIM compatible. It also features a fingerprint scanner.
However, acquiring the Rs 501 smartphone isn’t easy as only registered users are eligible for its flash sale. The phone is available only on Cash on Delivery.
Currently, the registration is closed and according to the website, there are some technical issues which are preventing new registrations. The device will go on a flash sale on September 2, 2016.
According to a media report, the phone’s price of Rs 501 is currently only for sales promotion and afterwards it will be available for its original price of around Rs 8000.
